If you’re looking for a short relatively easy trek that gives you a taste of the Nepal trekking experience this might be the trek for you. The trek boasts excellent views of the Annapurna Range including such iconic peaks as Gangapura, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and Annapurna. The trail passes through forests, paddy fields, and villages, traversing rivers and streams before reaching the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk.

Side trip via Australian Camp: The small clearing At 2165 m (7,103 ft) known as Australian Camp offers a spectacular panorama of the Annapurna Range. An overnight here will deliver a sunrise to remember.

Side trip via Ghorepani (Poon Hill): A moderate hike in the Annapurna region for those who want a taste of trekking without the high altitude. While relatively easy by Nepal standards, this trek still packs a punch, with some steep climbs and awesome views, including the famed Himalayan panorama from atop Poon Hill.
