Hi!!! My name is Bàrbara. I'm from Barcelona (spain) and i am 28 years old. i will be in Nepal from 23set to 11oct but this days are the only i have for trekking. I'd love to others trekkers who don't want to do it alone for security or to share the experience. Thanks for reading and see you soon!!!

For those with limited time, the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek offers a journey of shifting landscapes; from the lush middle hills to the cauldron of ice and rock at Annapurna Base Camp, referred to as the Annapurna Sanctuary for the high mountain walls that surround it. The trail passes through a steep narrow valley with Machapuchare (Fish Tail Mountain)] towering above the valley. The view at Annapurna Base Camp is awe-inspiring as you stare up at the whiteface of Annapurna I surrounded by snowclad peaks in every direction. This trek is most comfortably done in 9 days but for those with even more limited time it is possible to do this trek in as few as 7 days. Add the Short Modi Kola Start option to reduce the trekking by a day. Add the 'Annapurna Base Camp Day Visit' option to reduce the trek by another day. This is least desirable since the best weather is often early in the morning.

Weather Conditions in September

Mid-September marks the start of the ‘Fall Season’ historically the monsoon would end in mid-September, however in recent years the monsoon has officially withdrawn in early October. While there is a good chance of precipitation, clear skies and lush, rice paddy terraced hills are your spectacular when it is not raining. The chance of rain decreases as the month progresses. The end of the monsoon means there is still a chance of the occasional heavy snowfall at high altitudes. Furthermore, high passes can have a lot of snow that has accumulated over the monsoon.

At a glance
On average there are 15 days with precipitation in September. The highest point on the trek is Annapurna Base Camp at 4130 m. During September, expect high temperatures of around 11.6°C (53°F) and lows down to 1.6°C (35°F) at Annapurna Base Camp.
