Chhepal Sherpa comes from the village of Khunde in the Solo Khumbu region of Nepal. A short walk from Namche Bazar, Khunde lies at the center of one of the world’s most established trekking routes, as climbers and trekkers pass through en route to conquer or merely admire Mount Everest. Chhepal has 14 years of experience leading treks through his home Khumbu region and throughout Nepal, leading ascents of the trekking peaks such as Island Peak and Lobuche peak, as well as treks around Manaslu, to Makalu basecamp, Langtang, Annapurna, and upper Mustang. A licensed trekking guide, Chhepal has also completed a leadership training course. He has been guiding for New Zealand based Everest Treks, and when he’s not leading treks he loves to play football (soccer) with friends or travel to meet new people and see new places.
Note: Guides marked as available indicates that they have no known conflicting treks, and have not
indicated that they are not available. However, many guides may have personal commitments or treks outside the
Sherpana network that may not be reflected their Sherpana availability calendar. To assure the guide you choose
is available you can select the after the trek is confirmed from the guides that confirm they are both available
and willing to lead your trek.
