Jun 1 - Jun 2, 2023 | Change
The shortest way but a less scenic way to Chomrong that follows the Modi Khola (river) bypassing Ghandruk. If you need to reduce the itinerary by a day this is a possible option. Taking a taxi to the road head will also save time instead of taking the public bus.
The middle of June typically marks the beginning of the monsoon. Clear mornings are still possible but get increasingly less likely towards the end of the month. Be prepared for rain and hot humid weather in the low elevation valleys. The added moister means the hills are beginning to change to their vibrant monsoon green.
