An option with a more gradual start to go to Australian Camp but requires an out and back over the same trail from Pothana. This small clearing At 2165 m (7,103 ft) offers a spectacular panorama of the Annapurna Range. An overnight here will deliver a sunrise to remember.
February has a slightly higher chance of precipitation than January and a slight increase in the chance of clouds, but in general it is typically a very dry month. While there is little rain, skies in the hills and valleys further from the high mountains can be hazy from dust and pollution.
