For those looking to get off the beaten track and explore the hidden wonders of Nepal the trek to Nar and Phu is the perfect choice.

Side trip Humde to Besi Sahar via Jeep Finish: If you are in a rush it is possible to catch a jeep hike all the way to Humde and catch a shared jeep to Besi Sahar the next day and reduce the trek by a day. Keep in mind there are fewer jeeps than leave from Chame.

Clear mornings and cloudy afternoons are typical, with clouds clearing up just before or just after sunset. Trekkers should also be prepared for the occasional rain shower, especially towards the end of the month. At high altitudes occasional snow storms are possible.

From May through early October it is sometimes not possible to reach Koto by road due to landslides caused by rains. In that case you may have to start walking at an earlier point and the trek may take an extra day or two so make sure you plan accordingly. Please pay your guide and porter for any extra days they work beyond the time you booked.
