A 3 to 4-hour hike above Pork, Kal Tal is a worthwhile side trip in good weather for its superb mountain views.
April is the peak of the ‘Spring Season’, with more moderate temperatures and still relatively few days of precipitation. Clear mornings and cloudy afternoons are typical, with clouds clearing up just before or just after sunset. Trekkers should also be prepared for the occasional rain shower, especially towards the end of the month. At high altitudes occasional snow storms are possible.

Around Manaslu via Kal Tal, via Tsum Valley, via Punggen Gompa, via Ganesh Himal Base Camp, and via Manaslu Base Camp led by Nawang Chimi Sherpa
Very tough hike. I recommend doing this trek only with start early morning to allow resting along the way. It is pretty much a day side trip.
