Would you like to request a specific guide?

If you do not specify a guide, a request will be sent to all available guides (once a payment is made and the trek is confirmed). Once confirmed, you can choose from the guides who indicated that they would like to lead your trek, or ask us to recommend a guide.

The route was opened for trekking as recently as 2012 and now has lodges along the trail, so it can be done as a teahouse trek. The trek has the advantage of drawing far fewer trekkers than the more well-known destinations like Poon Hill and Annapurna Basecamp. The trail ascends the ridge beneath Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peak and boasts some of the best views anywhere of this picturesque mountain.

The trail provides stunning views of the Annapurna range. For a short and moderate trek, it offers very rewarding views. Just a note, the tea houses are rather basic.

Mardi Himal is just out of the world, I feel I am in a position to do a comparison between ABC and Himal Mardi, I would say from the overall trek (journey) perspective I would always rate Mardi Himal higher than ABC. Poonhill is only exceptional place on ABC trek where I would like to visit again someday. Thanks for reading

It is said that this is a moderate hike... but moderate in Nepal means something different! A little bit of rock scrambling, a few steep sections... but the views are stunning. We loved it!
