Pasang comes from the village of Chaurikharka, near Lukla in the Everest region of Nepal. Trekking has a long history in Pasang’s family his grandfather worked in the industry, and in 2011 Pasang joined the family profession. He started working first as porter, and then as an assistant guide, before eventually becoming a lead trekking guide in 2014. As a trekking guide Pasang has lead treks in the Everest, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Langtang, and Rolwaling regions of Nepal. He has also led trekking peak ascents of Island Peak. Pasang has completed courses in rock climbing and guiding. He plans to further improve his climbing skills by taking courses in Basic and Advanced Mountaineering. When not at work in the mountains Pasang enjoys rock climbing, playing futsal, learning new languages, and swimming in the summer.

Pasang is a amazing. Exceeded all expectations by a mile. Everything we could have hoped for in a sherpa was'nt event close to what Pasang delivered on. We will most certainly be returning an some point in the future with more friends to meet with our good friend Pasang. He is a gentle, warm, welcoming character who is up for a late night on the cards. His photo doesn't do him justice (don't let it scare you off) because he is sooo smily and always happy in real life. Great sherpa skills, beyond any of our fitness capabilities. By the end of our trip I think each of us (longtime friends) liked Pasang more than one-another. Thank-you for making our trip to Nepal spectacular Pasang!

Pasang was very kind, polite and respectful at all times. He was very good to me and I felt very safe with him as my guide and I had a great time despite the trek being a little more challenging than I expected.

Pasang was very friendly and helped us with coordinating our hotel, the jeep, permits and last-minute trekking poles. While hiking he was always in good spirits. Unfortunately, due to weather and lack of familiarity with the Pikey Peak trek we ended up getting lost on a couple occasions. Each time he was able to find a local to help us. When one of us got sick on the trip (with a fever), he didn't hesitate to help by taking our bags to lighten the load. Overall, it felt that he was slightly unprepared, but always supportive.

Pasang was a very friendly, jovial and professional guide. He had a good sense of humour, was young and full of energy, and had a lot of knowledge of the trekking areas and the mountains. He sorted us out with appropriate guesthouses and helped us keep our preferred pace, was very good company to have with us during our ghandruk trek. He is also a very handsome looking fellow.

Namaste to all. I and my Korean friend did a trek to Himal Mardi base camp along with the wonderful team of Psang and Raju. I have done the ABC trek previously so had some trekking experience in Nepal - Annapurna. We caught up with Psang at our Hotel in Pokhara and I am really thankful to both that they decided to travel non stop for few days to reach Pokhara from Lukla (a different region of Nepal). Psang generally specializes in Everest region trek but has a good experience of Annapurna region as well. Psang took great care of us throughout the trek and managed a situation where my friend wanted to complete the trek at a faster pace. Psang assesses well the capability of the trekkers and helps them pace the trek accordingly. Psang always had Nepali Namkeen (snacks) to offer when I felt running low on salt. Psang has a wonderful collection of songs and music on his mobile which was a good form of entertainment. Psang took some excellent pictures from his camera of me which he shared at the end of trek, this parting gift was special. Friendly trustworthy Psang and Raju booth took good care of ourselves and we would like to recommend anyone who intends to trek in Nepal to approach them. I know Psang loves to provide guide service in Everest region as it's his hometown, however, I hope you are lucky if he accepts your request to be your guide. Psang I would seriously consider your advice to trek in Everest region next time when I am back in Nepal, I shall surely look out for you when I trek in Nepal in 2019. Young would also return to Nepal to do trek along with his son to Poon Hill.

I don’t think we could have found a better guide than Pasang on our trip to Goyko the Chola Pass and EBC 18 days. From the moment we arrived at KTM airport Pasang was there to guide us around town and beyond. He never failed to give but the utmost attention throughout our trek. He was friendly whole-hearted and very knowledgeable. Born and bred near Lukla he was able to give a very personal Insight into the peoples/culture of the region and the right places to stay and eat. he Introduced us to many of his friends and relatives, his father, also a guide and mother at the family home a beautiful example of a Sherpa home; very memorable. he kept a careful eye on our welfare and made sure we were acclimatized, was very professional at all times. We especially grateful for his tireless help in Lukla after our flight was cancelled in getting us a place on a helicopter back to KTM in time for our flight home. Sadly we had to leave him at Lukla that day but he miraculously appeared in KTM just as we were checking out of our hotel on the last day having walked/bused back to KTM from Lukla. Well done Pasang hope we can go trekking again sometime Derek and Goh

We had a fantastic trek with Pasang. We really enjoyed having such a friendly and enthusiastic young guide and he was great company throughout. He made sure we had a good place to stay every night (not always so easy in Nar Phu in October...) and that we were going at a pace that we enjoyed and were comfortable with and that was right for acclimatizing. He knew every mountain and seemed to have an almost unlimited supply of peanuts and biscuits! He also went beyond the call of duty in helping us with other aspects of our trip, e.g. flights from Jomsom, when we were travelling solo.

Pasang made our trip a blast every single day. He is young and energetic which suited our group really well. He went out of his way to ensure we experienced all the food, culture and views that Nepal has to offer. He ensured that we were acclimatizing properly and adapted our trekking pace to a comfortable level for our group. Our trip would not have been as enjoyable as it was without Pasang’s guidance and humour.
